Thad Garner... winning 2 of the last 3 seasons! 0.o

Thad was able to clinch victory in 2 rounds this season. He was also able to pull off 2 other podium finishes. With the first round, BWS, being a wash.. Thad finished on the podium 4 of the 5 rounds! Helping Thad's victory was securing 2 rounds worth of '+5 fast-lap bonus points'. These points proved to be critical in winning the overall championship.... 

Thad had done extensive testing during the offseason; his dominance was apparent from the first round. Thad's Exotek F1Ultra R5 was dialed in for every single round, only having a single 85 point dropout round. Exotek released many option parts during the 2025 season, and it looks like Thad is utilizing most all of them! Paired with the Exotek tires, Thad's car was going to be tough to beat. We also noticed that R1 is fully decked out on Thad's F1 car. R1 provides the best power in the industry. We saw several passes down the straights to gain championship points.

The R1 Wurks livery is quickly becoming the winningest scheme on the grid!!!  In 2024, we asked if anyone would stand up to Team R1 Wurks in 2025... The answer was NO! Team R1 Wurks has won the Overall Championship and Constructor Championship 3 consecutive seasons. We are now in 'dynasty' territory. Will any new team / driver rise up to challenge the dominance displayed by Team R1 Wurks in 2026???

UF1 Commissioner #2 wins again!! 

In his second season back as a racer, Tony Phalen captures the overall UF1 Championship! 

Tony's 2024 season started out incredibly rocky by missing the first round from illness. This meant Tony had burned all three of his season throw-outs with 0's to start the 2024 season. Tony's season would prove to be very difficult due to every single round having to count towards his overall season total. 

Tony was able to win 2 overall race days, and place on the podium for 5 out of the 6 rounds in 2024! He was also able to minimize his worst single main finish to 93 points [5th place]. 

Winning an overall UF1 championship is tough! It is a long season, and there is so much that can go wrong. The key to success is ensuring that you are placing consistently and minimizing bad rounds. Driver's need to be quick at all tracks and on all surfaces.... Being fast on one surface isn't enough to win this series. Tony's experience and patience through the entire season is a testament to his skill and UF1 dominance.

The man - the myth - the legend...

Thad won fast lap points for 3/4 rounds this year. His R1 equipped Exotek Racing chassis was fast and consistent all season long. 

Believe it or not, Thad did not win a round this season! His consistent overall finishes and minimal throw-outs were enough to keep him ahead of the pack all season long. This goes to show that consistency is far more important in the UF1 series than blistering speed!!!
