HUDY 1/10 Formula Foam Tires are designed to deliver exceptional traction, balance, and durability across a wide range of track surfaces and traction conditions.
Mounted on HUDY’s exclusive silver wheels, the tires are pre-cut to race-ready diameters and sold in matched front and rear pairs — providing the ideal compound balance for competitive Formula racing. The front tires are pre-cut to 59mm and rear tires are pre-cut to diameter 62mm.
With a carefully selected 50 shore front and 35 shore rear foam hardness, they offer precise steering response up front and maximum rear traction. The compound choice works reliably on both asphalt and carpet, and performs consistently from low to high grip tracks.
Compatible with all standard 1/10 Formula chassis.
Team Saxo Racing is teasing their upcoming F1 tire and wheel package.
No details yet for available compounds or pricing.
From what we have seen, the closed cell / molded foam insert looks very nice.
More details to come!
The new F-Won is MetriCks-based Formula 1 car (using all-metric hardware). The new car sets a new "metric" for performance, durability and affordability.

Fast and efficient in the corners
Super low center of gravity
Super simple in design and use
Easy to race and maintain
Excellent durability
In the CRC tradition, keep the car affordable.
Value - With a street price of $319.99 for the kit, the F-Won is priced well below the competition on the market. Add 2 CRC wings ($7.50 each) and a $25 body and for $40 you are racing and winning at much less than the competition.

Sad News today guys- Cal Raceway will be unable to continue business in its current location due to an incoming charter school that overtake the soccer gym and rc track. We have had an amazing 28 year run at this location but the sad reality will be that the gates will permanently lock March 15th at 7pm. Our papers have been provided by the property manager and there is unfortunately nothing me or Jeff at soccer Can do… TCS round is canceled. I am currently looking for a place to open the business back up but for the next couple months I will be putting on races at other host tracks. It has been an honor to work alongside Mike and a unique privilege to “own” a track. I will make an effort to Open as many days as possible until our closing date. I’m heartbroken but proud of what we have done and hopefully we can find a smooth patch of pavement and keep the Cal brand going. Thank you to all who have supported this raceway.
Races before we close:
Feb 25th
March 3rd
March 9th (UF1)
March 10th
Looking past our closure:
March 23rd club race Cal @ Rev
May 25th Scale Champs will be held at Camarillo.
Infinity has released a V2 of their formula 1 chassis the IF11-II
The v2 has some welcomed updates but still retains its realistic chassis layout. Looking forward to seeing one out on track!
2024 will see the addition of our experimental Super Tub GT class!
This class is designed to be low cost, simple, and FUN.
There is no chassis restriction other than it is required to have a plastic tub chassis. [no modification or cutting of the tub is allowed]
Rules are a combination of Cal's Porsche Cup and Lap Factory's Tamiya Super GT.
The class will utilize the 2426 RIDE pre-mount tires.
We have a list of compatible bodies in the 'chassis rules section' of the website. If you would like a body added, please email me at aaron.lane@UF1rcracing.com. The body list will be growing as time goes on. Please feel free to ask about adding bodies :)

The UF1 has been an amazing Series to be a part of, travelling to a bunch of different tracks, reaching out to quite a few states, all with the intent of bringing F1 RC to the masses. We’ve seen a ton of progress in this segment – amazing car designs, fancy new electronics and, more recently, competitive body styles and a killer line of tires.
We’ve also seen many big races around the globe use ‘UF1 Rules’, a testament to the amazing Series Mr. Lightfoot started. I’m just proud that I got to be a part of it and, hopefully, helped keep it pointed in the direction he envisioned.
However, all good things must come to an end. It’s been an amazing 11 years since I acquired the UF1 from the man, the myth, the legend. It’s become a bit of a monster to manage and, with the wife and I talking about doing some travelling, I’ve been looking for the right person to take the helm.
With that, I’d like to introduce the new owner of the UF1, Aaron Lane. Aaron comes from and engineering background and is an avid F1 racer. He is a past UF1 Champion, stood on the podium many times last season and was a candidate for the overall Championship win, however something about a honeymoon might have cost him that title LOL He’s not afraid to speak up when something seems off (a trait he’s going to need to run this thing) and I honestly feel he’ll be a great asset to the Series.
I will still be helping him with the website, however he’ll be the guy who makes all the decisions and answers all the questions.
Please take a moment and welcome Aaron – I’m sure he’s excited to get this train on the tracks again. We’ll be posting some follow-up info on the updated rules and schedule shortly.
Finally, thanks to all the drivers that have come out to support the UF1. It’s been a really fun ride and I can’t wait to see where it goes. Now, time to get a car together…
