Super Tub GT is a marriage of Cal's 'Porsche Cup' and The Lap Factory's 'Tamiya Super GT'. It allows those who have TCS cars and other tub based touring cars to come out and also enjoy the UF1 format. Combining both rule sets and opening the class to any chassis manufacture is aimed to provide a lower cost / affordable form of scale touring car racing. This class is meant as a support class to UF1. We look forward to watching it grow into something new!
Car Chassis:
Plastic tub chassis only!!!
Plastic tubs must have vertical walls connecting to the bottom chassis surface.
[Example: TB-05, TA-07, TA-08 do not have vertical connecting walls and would not be legal]
no cutting or modification of the chassis tub is allowed.
**modification to the chassis is allowed to fit / mount more modern Lipo batteries instead of Nimh cells**
Preferred kit cost is under $299.
RTR must cost less than $350.

ROAR-Legal 25.5T stock motor with ROAR approved rotor.
Hobbywing justock 21.5T [FIXED TIMING]

Tires:
2426 Ride premounts ONLY.
Either wheel design is ok.
Dyed premounts from The Lap Factory are ok.
UF1 will have limited premounts for sale / available at the track for race days! [please let us know ahead of time if you will need to buy tires at the track]
Body:
No aero touring car or LMP bodies.
Must be a GT3 / street legal / track day / scale appearing car.
